Black C- 1 is a concentrated solution which develops a black antique finish on copper, brass and bronze at room temperature. Primarily used for decorative purposes.
Product Description
Procedures:
Immerse the pieces in Black C- 1 for the necessary time to achieve the desired color. Small parts can be dipped in the solution in a Stainless Steel or plastic baskets. Rinse with water and dry. The finish is easily relieved by brushing or mechanical polishing to produce a variety of antique finishes. To produce a uniform colored finish, tumble or vibrate the small parts in sawdust. Large pieces can be wiped dry or buffed. It is recommended that a clear lacquer (e.g. WSL- 55 or AL-70) be applied to the coating to provide maximum life.
