Blue Gun BG-1411
Product Description
Blue Gun 1411 is an instant-acting, chemical conversion liquid compound for bluing and blackening steel and ferrous metal parts at room temperature. Gunsmiths use steel bluing to give the product a professional dark-blue color look on steel guns and rifles.
This product works great on all kinds of guns from rifles to handguns. Furthermore, scratches and worn spots are completely re-blued in most guns. The blue-black finish is even non-streaky on steel not including stainless steel.
The parts must be rust-free and completely cleaned before bluing steel or ferrous metal.
Procedures:

Metal must be cleaned with cleaner 104 a non-flammable, non-chromated cleaner, which removes oil and grease as well as some light rust. Apply this chemical with a clean towel or a brush several times.

Rinse the part with water and dry it.

Apply Blue Gun BG-1411 with a brush, or clean cotton towel several times; each time for 5-10 seconds.

Apply Metal Oil to develop an oil cushion on the piece sealed, to provide maximum corrosion prevention.
